Location: Bar Orient, Fremantle
Date: Thursday January 21
Time: 6pm-8pm
We should all have access to safe and affordable housing. Yet nearly 10,000 Western Australians are experiencing homelessness every night with tens of thousands more in need of affordable, stable housing.
Rather than maintaining a strong social safety net at a time when Western Australians need it most, more social housing has been shut down under this State Labor Government than has been built.
Alison Xamon, Brad Pettitt and Dorinda Cox will be joined by lived experience advocates Noelene Garlett and Jaron Green to discuss the issues people in our communities are facing in Fremantle and across the Perth Metro Region. Please join us for the evening to raise awareness about WA’s growing homelessness crisis, hear from people in our communities and learn how we can take action to ensure a safe and affordable home for all.
