There are a lot of meetings, discussions and forums in The Greens. It's an unavoidable part of the grass roots democratic process. With so many meetings, it's important that we keep them efficient, engaging, accessible and...dare we say...fun!

Whether you're a convenor of a Regional or Working Group, a regular meeting facilitator, or are interested in taking on a more active role in running meetings, this full-day course will give you the skills you need to keep The Greens running smoothly!

Where: The Greens (WA) Office, 91/215 Stirling St. Perth, WA 6000

When: 10am - 4:30pm, Sunday 12th July 2026

What to expect: A full day of hands-on, interactive learning on everything you need to run a Greens meeting, including:

  • meeting preparation

  • keeping to agendas and time allocation

  • consensus-based decision-making

  • keeping and managing progressive speaking lists

  • handling difficult conversations and personality clashes
