The Greens (WA) Climate Crisis Working Group will be delivering the open letter to your Greens (WA) state parliamentary team, 11 November on the steps of the Western Australian Parliament House. This is an opportunity to show our collective voice, and to tell the Cook government that peaceful protest is a right and must not be criminalised.
Recent prosecutions of peaceful protestors carry penalties that are disproportionate and chilling for democratic dissent, especially at a time where fossil fuel giants own the major parties.
With your support we’re sending a strong message to WA Labor: “We will be heard.”
