Join us at Como Bowls Club on Thursday 2 May to talk about how South Perth and the surrounding suburbs can become a greener, more connected and liveable community!

As you might be aware, late last year, your MP in State Parliament, Brad Pettitt MLC, office published a draft consultation report called 'Climate Positive Perth' which aims to re-imagine Metro-Perth area as a low-carbon, greener, more liveable, and connected city.

The next step in this process is to localise the concept and get feedback from the community before the final report is published later this year.

Situated between the Derbal Yerrigan (Swan River), Boorloo (Perth City), Curtin University to the South and the Airport to the East, South Perth is in the middle of a major transport route and diverse suburbs with different housing needs and a growing population.

This is the perfect opportunity to bring the community together to have a conversation with the broader community to ask what you want the revitalisation of South Perth and surrounds to look like and what needs to happen to achieve that.

The aim is for this to be a positive, solutions-focused event that brings together different elements of the community for what I hope will be a collaborative and productive discussion.
