Will you join us to speak to the people of North Perth about the fight to address the housing crisis in WA.

Everyone should feel safe that they'll have a roof over their head at night and a place they can call home. But here in WA the housing crisis is really biting. Since the last state election interest rates, rents, and the number of people on the waiting list for social and affordable housing have all exploded.

Our community is feeling the pain and we need our Government to do something about it.

The Greens are fighting to fix the housing crisis in WA.

Despite having the biggest mining exports in the country, WA charges the lowest mining royalty rates. We can afford a housing plan that tackles the scale of the crisis just by raising royalities to match other states.

The Greens want:

  • Increasing investment in building social and affordable housing
  • A plan for renters - including rent caps and urgent reforms to the Residential Tenancies Act
  • Minimum standards for accessibility and water and energy efficiency
  • First Nations housing self-determination

Will you join us to speak to ordinary people about the fight to address the housing crisis in WA and bring pressure to bear on the Labor government for real action?
