Community Food Forest Project #2

The Greens will be the special guests at the Community Food forest at Fred Burton Way, City Beach.

We'll be helping with gardening - planting or weeding - so bring along a fork or trowel or perhaps a rake would be handy.

The food produced at this garden is not your every day crops - you'll find native bush tucker, medicinal crops, fava beans, broccoli, daikon, lettuce, shahtoot, asparagus, rhubarb, longan, pecan, custard apple and jujube, so there's lots to learn. This might even give you an idea for starting something similar in your area!

Wear your Greens t-shirt and bring your gardening gloves if you have some.
