On Saturday November 16 The Greens (WA) are having a state-wide Climate Day of Action. We want as many people as possible out talking to residents about climate change with our petition to send a strong message to the major parties that we need action on climate change in Western Australia now. Talking to people makes a huge difference and having you as part of our team makes us powerful.
When: Saturday 16th November, 10am-12pm
Where: The Greens (WA) office, Level 1,440 William street Perth
Public Transport: The office is a 15-20 minute walk from Perth Station
Accessibility: There is a lift and an accessible toilet available
No previous experience is required, however it is a good idea to join our short training session before the door-knock if possible. The session will take you through the ways we are talking about climate change and then into the nuts and bolts of door-knocking.
Directly before the door-knock, 9.30-10AM at the office
We will start the day with a quick briefing before we head out in pairs (all new door-knockers will be partnered with someone experienced) to talk to the community. We will meet back at the office at 12pm for food, drinks and a chance to share some of our experiences.
See you there!
