Decision making for residential battery storage solutions that enable solar pv users to store power, reduce their carbon foot print and further reduce electricity bills. If you wish, you can bring your electricity bill and get an estimate of savings that you might make by augmenting your solar pv with battery storage. Swan Greens will also provide an update on adoption trends nationally and locally on rooftop solar.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Craig Donohue is the founder of Clean NRG Perth. He has always had a passion for sustainability. From an early age Craig has had a desire to reduce his carbon footprint and his electricity bills. The opportunity came up to start a Solar energy business and Craig has never looked back. With 30+ years of experience in retail and B2B, he has an excellent understanding of the importance of superior customer service and has an excellent reputation in the industry. Craig has been employed by some of the world’s largest companies including Sanyo and Toshiba. He prides himself on an open door policy and is always available to meet with clients be it face to face or over the phone
Session 1 - Why battery augmentation?
In this session, participants will be introduced to the benefits of solar pv battery augmentation:
-environmental and social
-reducing energy costs
Session 2 - Carbon footprint and financial modelling
In this session, participants, work with production and consumption data to model savings on CO2 emissions and energy costs connected with battery acquisition and the decision to acquire.
Session 3 - Product marketplace
In this session, the product market place is considered inclusive of cost and reliability.
Session 4 - Acquisition, installation and maintenance
In this session, issues with acquisition, installation and maintenance will be discussed
