Join with Diane Evers MLC in reconnecting a community of forest enthusiasts, lovers and protectors! This workshop is for anyone who cares about the future of our beautiful South West Jarrah, Karri and Marri forests to connect with others and combine our voices.

Our community have long been campaigning to save our native forest. This event will bring together new and experienced campaigners to get involved and focus on topics like:

  • What is High Conservation Value Forest?
  • Why/how/where are forests threatened?
  • What can we actually do about it as individuals?
  • What is being done to protect these forests?
  • Organising and activating to save our forests.

The main day of activity is Saturday, September 29, at Fair Harvest Permaculture in Margaret River, from 9.30am to 4pm. Saturday evening activities and a guided forest walk on Sunday morning will also be included.

Event price has been reduced to just $10 per person and includes lunch! Admission is free for under-16 who come with an accompanying adult.

This is a great opportunity to hear from experts and be included in grass roots action.

Scholarships are available for people to attend this event if finances are a limitation. Limited shared accommodation is available nearby on Friday and Saturday evenings at $40 per night.
