We're in for a dire summer of scorching temperatures. We need climate action now, yet all we're seeing from our State Labor government is inaction and dragging feet.
Here in WA, a disasterous climate bomb is forging ahead - The Burrup Hub. The Burrup Hub would be the most polluting project in Australia's history, emitting over 6 million tonnes of carbon pollution across its lifetime. It will have a disasterous impact on our global climate.
Labor are trying to spin the idea that WA gas is a transition fuel that will help the world to transition to a cleaner, greener future. But its not; gas is a dirty fossil fuel just like coal.
That's why - before the year is out - we want to send Labor a clear message: NO NEW GAS IN WA!
