The theme of this years parade is Shine! This is our time to 'shine the light' on LGBTQIA+ inequality in WA and demand urgent reform from the Government.
The past few years have highlighted how desperately we need transgender and intersex rights in WA and across Australia, as well as full protections for LGBTQIA+ to live as their authentic selves.
And, of course, the Pride Parade is when we get together celebrate how far we've come thanks to decades of tireless work from community activists.
Joining our float is free but registration is absolutely essential! Wear your favourite Greens Pride outfit, or show off your classic Greens shirt.
We'll be having light snacks and getting ready at the Greens (WA) office from 4pm before heading down to the marshalling area together (about a 10 minute walk). You'll need to collect a wristband from us at the office in order to enter the parade.
