New Volunteer Welcome: NSW State Election 2027

Welcome to the campaign!

If you’re new to volunteering with the Greens, this session is designed to help you get started and feel confident getting involved in the NSW State Election campaign.

Whether you’ve signed up for your first campaign activity, recently put your hand up to volunteer, or are just keen to find out what volunteering involves, this webinar is a chance to meet other new volunteers and learn the basics of campaigning.

We’ll cover:

• What to expect from the NSW State Election campaign
• The different ways you can volunteer, including doorknocking, letterboxing, stalls, events, phone banking and more
• What happens when you turn up to your first volunteer activity
• How campaign teams work and who you’ll be working with
• The training, support and resources available to you
• How you can get more involved as your confidence and skills grow
• Where to go if you have questions or need help

You don’t need any previous political or campaigning experience. You don’t need to be an expert, and you definitely don’t need to know all the Greens policies!

We’ll help you get started, meet some people and find a way to contribute that works for you.

This event will be held online via Zoom. 

Please contact the event organiser with any accessibility requests as early as possible so that suitable arrangements can be discussed and organised where possible. 

If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will need to contact the event organiser directly to let them know there will be someone under 18 attending.
