Enjoy SE Qld habitats with a bushwalk with fellow Greenies! Come and enjoy the extensive walking tracks wind through large sandstone outcrops and eucalypt forest with stunning grass trees and banksias scattered throughout the understorey. Bring a picnic basket, BBQ fixings or grab a bite or drink from a nearby cafe after the walk for a fun social morning.

Join your fellow Greens for a friendly get together and bush walk through Toohey Forest Park - just 10 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD, and covering about 260 hectares. It’s home to a diverse range of wildlife such as koalas, echidnas and gliders with more than 75 species of birds and an array of reptiles, butterflies and frogs.

Trail notes:
There are a series of easy to moderate trails we will be exploring on our 90 minute walk, including the Sandstone Circuit, Nathan Ridge Track, and the Toohey Ridge Track.

Track Rating:
There are three grades of walking tracks at Toohey Forest Park:

Easy: mostly flat with minor slopes and fairly even track surface with few obstacles.
Moderate: track may be hilly and have uneven surfaces in sections. Steps may be present.
Hard: track may be steep, uneven and have obstacles in sections. Steps may be present.
