The Kurrajong Greens are stepping into a new era, and we're coming out the gate strong with this Kurrajong Catch-up! On top of the usual opportunity to maintain old connections within the Greens community, build new ones, and stay on top of the goings-on of the party, we will be having two important discussions and we would love your input for both.
We'll be starting off with a planning session with former Executive Director of the Green Institute and two-time Greens candidate for Canberra, Tim Hollo, on our approach to Community Power Building, followed by a workshop by the Convenor of the new Assembly Arrangements Working Group, Jo Rocke, seeking grassroots member input on ongoing discussions within the Legislative Assembly to renegotiate the political arrangements in the territory after the expiry of the last Supply and Confidence Agreement between Labor and the Greens in light of Shane Rattenbury's recent resignation.
This event will be held in the Party Office in Turner on Sunday, 5 July from 11 am to 1 pm, and we really look forward to seeing you there!
