Cumberland Door Knock, Saturday 11 July, Civic Park
Gather 9:30am for 10am start
We're hitting the streets of Cumberland, and we want you with us.
This isn't your typical political door knock. We're not asking residents to vote for us, we're showing up to listen, connect, and offer real support to the people who live here. Think of it as community service with sneakers on.
And the lineup? Senator David Shoebridge, Cate Faehrmann, Sue Higginson and Greens councillors will be joining us fresh off the Tamil Community Memorial, because when there's community to be served, the Greens show up twice in one day.
Never door knocked before? Perfect. This is literally the ideal first time. We lead with help, not a how-to-vote card, so every conversation feels natural, meaningful, and genuinely useful to the people answering the door.
Come ready to walk, talk, and make Cumberland a little better, one doorstep at a time.
We will meet at Civic Park (near Pendle Hill Station) 9:30am for a 10am start. We will meet up again afterwards (about 12pm) for debrief.
Please wear a Greens shirt or badge if you have one, as well as bringing something for sun safety and wet weather.
If you are under 18, your parent or guardian will need to contact the event organiser directly to let them know there will be someone under 18 attending.
