Braddon Bowls Club Petition Stall - Braddon

The Braddon Bowls Club, near Ainslie Primary School, was originally intended as a recreational space for the Braddon community to come together and socialise, however the site has since been acquired by a business that wants to replace it with a hotel development, against objections by local residents.

The Greens are supporting a petition to ensure that the site is retained for its original purpose, and that any future development considers the needs of the local community. To that end, we will be collecting signatures near Haig Park on Sunday 17 May from 10 am to 12 midday, and we would love if you could come along to help us out. No experience is needed, but we do appreciate if you can do some quick background research beforehand. We hope to see you there!
