Whitehorse Greens 2026 AGM

JOIN US AS WE BUILD A MOVEMENT IN WHITEHORSE.

Whitehorse is holding its general meeting, which will include normal proceedings as well as elections for the branch Office bearers, is taking place at 7pm. This meeting will be hybrid, with both a zoom link (https://vic-greens-org-au.zoom.us/j/84101672023?pwd=VcrIKIPbJoeW2kcwI2R8gTtLtKAPvO.1) and in-person attendance possible in Mitcham!

Our current roles and a brief description of each of them are as follows:

• Convenor

  • Facilitate meetings

  • Support the direction of the branch

• Secretary

  • Along with the convenor create and share meeting agendas with branch membership

  • Create and share meeting minutes with branch membership and State Office

• Treasurer

  • Manage and report on branch finances

• Membership Secretary

  • Grow the branch membership by contacting new members

• Incident Contact Person

  • being the first point of contact for members when they are having issues with other party members and providing advice on how any issues can be handled

All of these positions can be shared by up to 2 people, except for the Incident Contact Person which can be held by more than 2 people. Along with these roles we will be electing a new Quick Decision Making Group which is made up of 6 members of the branch and deals with urgent decisions that arise between meetings, usually finance related matters. The QDMG is comprised of at least 2, max 3 members of the Office Bearer team and up to 3 general members of the branch.
