Our popular 'Let's Talk' series is back! Join Dr Amanda Cohn MLC in conversation about the mental health crisis in NSW
Join Dr Amanda Cohn MLC, Dr Pramudie Gunaratne and Richard Hendrie for an urgent and timely discussion on the mental health crisis in NSW.
We'll discuss:
- Current access and equity of mental health care
- The needs of people trying to access support, their families, and of health professionals working in a broken system
- What an ideal mental health care system would look like - and how we get there
Our speakers:
Dr Pramudie Gunaratne is a neuropsychiatrist and NSW Chair of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists who staunchly represented the psychiatrists who quit NSW Health en masse last year.
Richard Hendrie is an award-winning lived experience mental health and disability advocate, and the Greens candidate in the Farrer by-election.
Dr Amanda Cohn MLC is a former rural GP and the Greens spokesperson for health including mental health in the NSW Parliament.
