RENTERS DAY OF ACTION!

You deserve a home you can afford. But right now if you rent, you're struggling as the cost of everything goes up.

We know what happens when costs start to rise - property investors try to preserve their profits, renters will be the ones to bear the brunt.

That’s why the Greens are calling for an immediate two-year rent freeze to protect renters from the rising cost of living, fuel prices and interest rates.

Together we make unlimited rent rises illegal.

So, on May 9 we’ll be getting out and about talking to renters like about how we get rent controls for a Renters Day of Action!

It’s going to take all of us to finally make renting fair, are you in?

This page will sign up your interest for helping on 9 May from 10am - 4pm with a range of tactics including doorknocking, postcard writing, rental inspection conversations and stalls.

A volunteer will give you a call over the next week with more information about the event that is local for you.
