This April the Maiwar Greens are hosting an informal meeting with visiting Senator Penny Allman-Payne, in lieu of our usual branch meeting.
Join us in Indooroopilly to hear an update on recent Greens wins on aged care, and discuss with Penny the current priorities and challenges of the Australian Greens in parliament.
Penny Allman-Payne is a Queensland Greens Senator, former public school teacher and unionist, known for her advocacy on social justice issues including aged care and social services reform. She serves as the Australian Greens’ spokesperson for Primary and Secondary Education, Social Services, Older People, Transition, Regional Development & Northern Australia, and Sport.
