We want to stay active between elections in a way that is effective, strategic, and sustainable. We want to build real people power in our community so we can tackle the housing crisis, bring down the cost of living, protect the environment, and make big business pay its fair share. To truly build power, we need to stay present in our communities year-round, campaigning not only for seats, but building on-going community power.
At this month’s Port Phillip Greens branch meeting, we’ll discuss how to establish a continuous campaigning structure, ensuring our branch remains active by responding to local issues, organising proactive campaigns, and demonstrating to the community that Greens can deliver real, tangible change in and outside of election periods.
We’ll look at possible focus areas, and what has worked so far. The aim is to develop a shared strategy so we’re building momentum—not starting from scratch every election.
Join us to shape how we campaign beyond election cycles and build a lasting Greens presence in our community!
