The Greens @ The WA Pride Parade

Join The Greens (WA) as we join the WA Pride Parade in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community. We are a Party of the People, and that is the title of our float this year. We are in solidarity with the community, and always focus on the grassroots nature of campaigning and policy making.

Due to Pride WA COVID-19 requirements, registration for all attendees is required by 5pm November 18th.

This year our float will be led by non-binary person River Clarke, our Greens Senate #2 candidate, proudly accompanied by Senator Jordon Steele-John, Candidate for Perth Caroline Perks and many other fabulous candidates from across our state.

Accessibility: Following consultation with Senator Jordon Steele-John and the Disability community, we'd like to advise that the track is not paved, bathrooms will be 'accessible' portaloos (which are not accessible for all people), and the main thoroughfares are not incredibly accessible. Please advise us of your accessibility requirements in the applicable field during registration, so we can ensure the best event possible given the circumstance.

We'll meet at the Queens Gardens (exact location to be emailed) for some light refreshments and to pick up your Greens Pride Parade shirt. We'll then head over to Gloucester Park together. The price of the event pays for your shirt to the event. It is incredibly important to us that we ensure everyone can attend our event. If the cost associated with the shirt is a barrier for you, please contact Alex Wallace, Pride Working Group Co-Convenor (email below), and we will be able to make arrangements for you. If you are in a position to purchase an additional shirt for another person, we invite you to make an additional donation. Any donations over the additional shirt coverage will feed into next year's Pride budget.

Due to Pride WA regulations, only 100 people will be able to join us in total, so registration is absolutely essential.
